You are cordially invited to join me as I swim down our beloved river Wye - towing a full sized COFFIN with 3 Grim Reapers on paddle boards

Please show your support for our wonderful Wye by accompanying me and the COFFIN along a 1 km section of the river as a determined demonstration against the unacceptable river pollution.

URGENT ACTION is needed to save the River Wye and its tributaries in Powys, Herefordshire, Monmouthshire and Gloucestershire.
Pollutants, sewage, manure, plastics and invasive plants are destroying the natural balance of our rivers.
Algal blooms, caused by excessive levels of phosphates and nitrates, are multiplying at an alarming rate and key species of plants and animals are in rapid decline.
Climate change, bringing with it extremes of weather and higher water temperatures, also adds to this toxic mix.
The aim is to bring communities together to celebrate and defend our beautiful rivers, to raise public awareness of current threats and to inspire action.
