2K Wild Walk & Guided Swim Monmouth

Join outdoor and wild swim specialist Angela Jones on Saturday 8 August in Monmouth for a 10am 2K wild walk along the river Wye and a guided 2K swim downstream.

This session will take in the glorious surroundings of the river Wye and explore the beauty of the riverbanks before swimming downstream. There will be the opportunity to swim upstream if you wish. Angela will share swimming and safety techniques to help you enjoy swimming wild.

Meeting at Monmouth Rowing Club at 10am (look out for Angela’s mint green coloured Run Wild branded VW).

Social distancing and government guidelines for health & safety will be followed.

Angela Jones has been cold water swimming the river Wye for over 30 years and is highly experienced, qualified and fully insured.

Over 16s. Wetsuits can be hired. Learn about the benefits of cold water dipping in a safety environment.
